Um projecto de arquitetura segue geralmente várias fases, desde a concepção inicial até à conclusão da obra e são adaptadas consoante a complexidade e dimensão do projecto:

1.&#38;nbsp; Programa Base 
Para dedinir objetivos, requisitos e condicionantes do projecto.
O arquitecto reúne com o requerente para compreender as necessidades, expectativas e orçamento. São analisadas as condicionantes legais. É elaborado um documento que define o programa funcional, áreas, requisitos técnicos e estéticos. Inclui também um estudo de viabilidade económica e técnica.

2.&#38;nbsp;Estudo Prévio + Pedido de Informação Prévia (opcional)Para o desenvolvimento de uma primeira proposta conceptual e avaliação opcional pelas autoridades competentes.
O arquitecto elabora esboços, plantas, cortes e alçados preliminares. São apresentadas soluções espaciais, funcionais e formais. O requerente aprova ou solicita alterações à proposta. Esta fase pode incluir maquetes físicas ou digitais para melhor visualização.

3.&#38;nbsp;Projecto BasePara obtenção das licenças necessárias junto das entidades competentes.
O projecto é desenvolvido com maior detalhe, incluindo plantas, cortes, alçados, memórias descritivas e justificativas. São elaborados documentos técnicos (estabilidade, instalações, acústica, etc.) por especialistas. O projecto é submetido para aprovação pelas autoridades competentes.

4.&#38;nbsp;Projecto de ExecuçãoPara desenvolver os detalhes todos os elementos necessários para a construção.
Elaboração de plantas, cortes e alçados definitivos, com cotas e detalhes construtivos. Inclui memórias descritivas e caderno de encargos (especificações técnicas e condições de execução). São produzidos desenhos de pormenor para todos os elementos construtivos (portas, janelas, revestimentos, etc.). O projeto é coordenado com as especialidades (estruturas, instalações, etc.).

5.&#38;nbsp;Concurso ou Adjudicação da ObraPara a selecção da empresa construtora.
O projecto é utilizado para lançar um concurso público ou privado. São analisadas propostas de construtoras, com base no preço, prazo e qualidade. É adjudicada a empresa que melhor cumpre os requisitos definidos.


6.&#38;nbsp;Fiscalização da ObraPara garantir que a obra é executada conforme o projecto.
O arquitecto e equipa técnica fiscalizam a obra, verificando o cumprimento do projecto e das normas. São realizadas visitas regulares ao estaleiro e emitidos autos de medição. São resolvidos eventuais problemas ou alterações necessárias durante a construção.

7. Recepção da ObraPara validar a conclusão da obra e a sua conformidade.
É elaborado um auto de recepção provisória, onde se verificam eventuais não conformidades. Após a correcção das não conformidades, é emitido o auto de recepção definitiva. São entregues ao requerente todos os documentos finais (manuais de utilização, garantias, etc.).

8.&#38;nbsp;Assistência Pós-ObraGarantir o bom funcionamento da obra após a entrega.
O arquitecto pode prestar assistência técnica durante o período de garantia. São resolvidos eventuais problemas ou ajustes necessários.

Garden of Clouds in GardLike a fingerprint in the landscape, the garden traces the productive fields with aromatic shrubs and flowers. A spiral path meanders through the endless garden, blending its cloudy volumes into the rural scenery of southern France. 
At its peak sits the patio-house, out of earth-coloured stone walls and tiled roofs, marking the beginning of a colourful modulated topography.

Boat House

The project draws on the memory of the senses, habits, relationships, and lived experiences between the Self and spaces, forms, and objects.
It proposes a reinterpretation of the suburban single-family homes of Portuguese heritage from the second half of the 20th century, acknowledging their amorphous nature and lack of architectural intent.
 The structure and the composition of construction elements and materials are clarified. Precise measurements are defined—neither more nor less—to suit use, function, comfort, and beauty.
The aim is to create a light space, like a wooden boat elevated off the ground, resting on the hill where 

São Luís Gonzaga Fort stands.

Im aktuellen Jahr feiert die Thalmatt 1 ihr 50-jähriges Jubiläum seit ihrer Einweihung. 

Entworfen vom Atelier 5 und ausgehend vom Wunsch, modern und gemeinschaftlich zu leben, festigt die Thalmatt 1 die Präsenz moderner Architektur in Bern nach der ersten Erfahrung mit kollektivem Wohnen in Halen in einem skeptischen Umfeld, was später die Fortführung des Projekts mit der Thalmatt 2 bestätigen würde. 

Als Gegensatz zu Halen, geprägt von Wiederholung und Dichte, entsteht die Thalmatt 1 als Projekt, um den Wünschen jedes Eigentümers Ausdruck zu verleihen, mit dem Entwurf von 18 differenzierten Reihenhäusern in Form, Grösse und Fläche, wobei leichter in-situ Beton für die Vereinheitlichung des Ensembles in seinem brutalistischen Erscheinungsbild verwendet wird. 

Die Vielfalt der angenommenen Lösungen verleiht auf häuslicher und gemeinschaftlicher Ebene Intimität, überrascht durch räumliche Variationen, die offen sind für unterschiedliche Nutzungen, verschiedene Materialien, die Landschaft sowie die Schönheit von Formen und Proportionen. 

Auf der Suche nach dem guten Leben hinterfragt das Atelier 5 hier die Art des Wohnens, die Gestaltung der Zukunft und den Bau des Hauses der Moderne, wie es Iñaki Ábalos ausdrücken würde, und verleiht schliesslich einer der wichtigsten modernen Landschaften der Region Bern, heute ein geschütztes Erbe, eine endgültige Autorschaft.&#38;nbsp;

Interstices of Urban DualismIn a historical and physical recognition of Maputo, a city whose urban layout is characterized by a specific dual relation contextualized by the sub-sahaaran territory, the present work intends to establish
morphological continuities in bodies that can be identified as urban interstices and that reveal an infrastructural dependence only
provided the originating european city core structure.
Mafalala and Mikandjuíne, a seat for a unique oceanic culture,make part of this specifically dependent framework. They are interstices of a layout that required continuity and are
seen as privileged territories for an architecture project proposal that seeks the
resolution of its anachronism, here necessarily morphological, but
also economical.
Recognizing their state, supported also by their important cultural dimension,Interstices of Urban Dualism proposes an urban concept not yet established in these areas: qualified public space.
 To inhabit, produce and pray
are postulates for a necessarily pragmatic approach of an urban set characterized by its culture and history, and for a design
that is intended to be structural and elemental: the opening of intersecting
and connecting axes, the fissuration of the residential mass providing a natural infrastructure for economic self-sustanability, the strategic score of metropolitan
equipments - where the proposed religious structure is
set upon -, and the wall and brick as the architectural elements from which all design is founded upon.

Lights of Points &#38;amp; LinesThe Helm, the Anchor and the Mast are three collections of geometric lighting objects, inspired by the fishermans frail light structures in Portuguese beaches. To enlighten public exterior or interior spaces, living or functional domestic areas, small corners of rooms or desks, they consist of structures made from long metal and glass profiles, differing on their appearance by means of their designed elements and light projection. With a variety of finishings and dimmable options, the lamps may add an unique and elegant character to their surrounding environment. Through their light and crossed design, the three collections create reference points in space and help one navigate in the built environment, letting lights be lights.Product Design in collaboration with Csaba Budai.
